A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and there are two types of dentures:
► complete (full)
► partial

Complete dentures are made after all the teeth in the mouth have been removed. These dentures include an acrylic base that is custom made for each individual and made to look like your natural gums. The base sits over the gums or can be anchored to dental implants.

Partial dentures in the other hand are made when only a few teeth need to be replaced. The partial can either be attached to crowns on either side or to a metal frame work that is attached to the teeth on both sides of the partial denture. These dentures can also be removable or they can be anchored to the dental implants.
